While most countries allow animal importation some impose restrictions that discourage the short-term and last minute traveller. The UK has previously had a strict quarantine policy for pets arriving from countries that do not fall under their Pet Travel Scheme. As from the 1st January 2012 the UK Entry Proccess now falls in line with the rest of the EU Travel Regulations.
New rules for pets travelling to UK/Northern Ireland from 1st January 2012
UK is falling into line with the rest of EU. Pet dogs, cats and ferrets from Cyprus entering the UK from 1st January 2012 require the following:
• Pet Passport • Microchip • Rabies Vaccination
• Pre-entry waiting period of 21 days after vaccination
• Tick treatment no longer required
• Tapeworm treatment (still under consideration at European level)
If you wish to Import or Export your pet to or from Cyprus then we can help. You will be assured of our personal attention at all times, we will remove all the myths about traveling pets and take away all the stress of relocating your family's best friend(s). We cater for delivery of virtually all pets not only cats & dogs but also rabbits, birds, parrots, tortoises and even horses and donkeys.

Droushia - Update..
Hi Sarah
It was nice seeing you & Christine again in October.
We're enclosing a current photo of Droushia in festive mood.
She's now a confident, loving & (mostly) obedient member of the family who enjoys her life in the UK. Her favourite things are long walks on the beach & sleeps in her own armchair (with a top blanket) at night. This time of year she doesn't go out without her coat - but then neither do we!
Hope all's well with you, & that all staff & animals at Pafiakos enjoy a peaceful & happy Christmas.
Kind regards,
Dave & Julie Evardson

As you can see from the pictures I have attached they are having great fun in the garden, sleeping alot & enjoying their daily runs on the fields near where we live.
Anyway will send few more photos in the New Year
With much gratitude, appreciation & very many Thanks to you all,
Best wishes, Wendy, Nigel, Goobie & Lulu

Crunch Ward - to the UK
Dear Sarah and Gayner,
Our daughter, Alison, who at present has Scooby in your care, said that you would like some photos of Crunch, our son Andrew's cat which he imported from Cyprus with your assistance. Unfortunately as soon as Crunch arrived in the U.K. Andrew and his family had to move to the US for three years for his firm and consequently we had to have Crunch living with us in Cromer, Norfolk while he is in the US. Crunch settled in very well and is an extremely affectionate cat spending most evenings on my lap watching the TV.I have attached some photos of Crunch with her family when they were back here in July for a holiday.
Carry on the good work,
Don Ward

"Hi Sarah & Gaynor
Just to let you know the dogs arrived safely, we picked them up around 8.30pm last night. all 6 dogs are getting on well so thats good!
Thanks again for everything you have all done from your end, it made our lives much easier without the extra worry.
I will send some photos in the next few days
Thanks again
Eleanor, Bill and Chris"
Sebastian to the UK:-
Dear All,
We thought we’d drop you a line to let you know how much Sebastian has settled in. After a few nervous days she now has taken over the house and behaves like the kitten she still is. Nothing is broken yet but there have been a few spills! She is learning very quickly, eats well, has ventured outside (although not far) and follows us everywhere! Friends pop round to see her and not us.
Please thank everyone concerned for taking such good care of her for the last few months and it’s is great she is finally here!

Chloe to Sweden:-
Hello dear Sarah,
How are you?
We thought it would be nice to send some photographs from Chloe.
She is doing very nice, gained 4 pounds and loves to walk and run and play with other dogs and us as well.
We take her along as much as we can, to the football matches from our son and daughter and everyone likes her.
We all started school or work again and so sometimes she has to stay in a bench, but she doesn’t mind and gets her sleep than.
How is life at the shelter? I hope everyone is ok, you are all doing a wonderful job! Give our regards and we admire you for the work you do.
