What is Sponsorship & How We Need Your Help

Paphiakos is one of the largest animal welfare charities in Cyprus.  In 2010 alone we cared for over 6,000 animals.  Many of our dogs and cats find loving new homes but those who need a little extra care stay with us in our Shelter.  There are also some very special animals who simply love being with us and choose to stay.
We rarely look to re-home our horses, donkeys, goats and rabbits.  Often they have been rescued by us from scenarios involving severe cruelty.  We prefer to give them a stress-free and happy life, roaming free around our Shelter.  We provide their care and feed and anything else that they require, which takes significant resources.
Paphiakos does not receive any Government funding and is reliant on the generosity of the public to help us.  With over 1,000 stray and abandoned animals in our care at any one time, we really need your help.  One of several ways that you can help us is being a Paphiakos  Sponsor. A sponsorship of a particularly liked animal is a good idea as an unusual birthday present. Maybe it would be a good educational point for a sports group or club to aim towards raising money for an animal's care and food.

Cat €20 per month. (minimum six months)

Dog €15  month. (minimum six months)

Donkey/Horse €25  month. (minimum six months)  

(Sponsorship costs include food, shelter and vaccinations. Sponsorship is for a minimum of 6 months)
